When the city is safe again, everything will go back to normal. That’s what Davey Karoll believes.

As a therapist married to the city’s first superhero, he has learned to live with late nights, close calls, and the distance that grows when the person you love belongs to everyone else. One day, he tells himself, they’ll find their way back. That, or he will finally adjust to the new normal. But what would that even look like?

While the heroes continue to fight crime in the city, the spouses left at home must confront what having super-powered wives has done to their marriages and to themselves. Sometimes the hardest part of saving the world isn’t the battle.
